Trapped Poster and Analysis

This is my Trapped poster for our Trapped project. I did not use any characters  in my poster to leave a mysterious feeling for the audience. I think the trees and the white light also have that effect. I also thought that the light painting gave a spooky effect to show to the audience that the movie is a horror film.

Production Day 7 - 'Trapped' Filming Friday 2nd December

On Friday we recorded a scene that involved Cassie and Abbi. We used a lot of camera shots and experimented quite a lot. However sometimes we had to re-shoot a shot because we would be interrupted by people walking past or the camera would take a while before it started recording.

Production Day 1 - 'Trapped' Filming Tuesday 22nd November

On Tuesday we attempted light painting by writing out 'trapped'. However the classroom we tried it in was not dark enough so we went in the hall and the images came out much better.

Production Day 4 - 'Trapped' Filming Monday 28th November

When we filmed on Monday the girls, Abbi and Cassie, started filming the first couple of shots in the girls toilets. When they came out we carried on by going into the woods to film some more shots. I thought the acting from Abbi and Cassie were at a high standard and also the camera shots we I used in the woods were also at a high standard. The shots I used included 'over the shoulder', 'tracking shot', 'close up' and more.

For this task we had to make a spider diagram for a target audience member that would like all these brands, game consoles and TV shows.

I think that the target audience for the film would like this because seeing as this is a horror I think it would attract teenagers and seeing as I'm a teenager that likes these things I think the target audience will like it.

'Trapped Initial Planning

My initial plan for 'Trapped'

My initial thoughts for 'Trapped' was that in the beginning a student was going to meet a teacher in a class room and waits for ages but the lights go out. In the middle the lights then come back on but they are flickering and very dim. Noises are also coming from inside the room and the student freaks out. In the end the student then finds out the noise is coming from a cupboard but gets dragged in screaming with the cupboard doors closing ending the story...



The groups initial thoughts for 'Trapped' was that a group of teenagers are going to a party. In the beginning the teenagers are drinking and having fun. In the middle some of the group decide to go through the woods, but get lost and think that something is chasing them and wants to kill them. In the end it turns out it was just a friend following them but then something does kill them and they get dragged into the bushes.

FindYourTribe

My tribe was townie. I personally thought it was quite accurate as it said that I work but I also like to enjoy myself and relax at the weekend after a tiring week.

Logo Research

For the logo research session I had to draw to logos and write about both of them. I chose the facebook logo and the puma logo. The things we had to write about the colour, font, size and shape.

Club Flyer Task

For the club flyer task I searched for two images on flikr. One of Dubstep and one of laser lights. Like the session before I used photoshop to blend the two images. Before I blended the image I removed all the background from the dubstep image. I then decided to make the laser lights image black and white and type an offer available at the event. Finally I made the image into one separate layer.

The Earth and Eye exercise

In the Eye and Earth exercise I went on to Flikr and got two images one of the earth and one of an eye. I then opened them both up in Photoshop and then removed the background of the Earth picture and re-scaled it to fit onto the eye. Finally I blended the Earth image into the eye and made them into one layer.
